Views from both sides of the channel
View from across the river entrance. A strong current and a tiny harbor make sailing this area a challenge. For a sailboat there are no other close by places to anchor for the night. Cuttyhunk is miles away, as is Lake Tashmoo.
There is a deep water cove, but the markers are few and the water gets very very thin. I brought my 18 foor wooden Thompson up in there many years ago, but have not had the opportunity to return.
Early Spring shots, the first warm day of the season, and everybody was out and about!
