This past week Federal Authorities invaded a sweatshop in New Bedford, and pulled hundreds of families apart as they flew mothers and fathers out of the state, to detention centers in Texas and elsewhere. Children left in daycare were left abandoned.
On Sunday there was a rally of support. We attended to donated legal funds, diapers and general support. Attending were Senators Kerry, Kennedy, Mayor Lange and Representative Delahunt.
