In the winter of 1999 we visited Cheryl's daughter in Bologna. We were there for the Christmas season, and arrived at the Rome airport a few weeks before Christmas. We navigated our way into Rome's train station, then back out again on our way to Bologna. We passed through the snowy Alps, and after a while arrived in Bologna. It was quite a nice city, with a beautiful Renaissance Cathedral, along with a Romanesque complex as well. I was very attracted to the complex, with it's quite courtyard and ancient halls.
