Greetings!

As the sailing season draws to an end, some of the best is yet to come...the monster bluefish that come in from offshore to fatten up for their trip south. The arrival of the bufflehead ducks, tiny wings beating at the speed of a hummingbird, down from the artic to winter over on Buzzard's Bay. The appearance of many unusual migratory birds, appearing at the feeder for a day or two as they head south. The leaves start to display the intense colors that are special to New England, and of course the evenings start to get cool, and twilight appears earlier with each day.

Thoughts of fires in the fireplace, candles in the darkness, and the crisp taste of fresh apple cider all return.

And so the seasons change once again!

Welcome to my website. I first started this site in 1995, to display photos I had taken of Christmas celebrations in the New England area. Today  I feature photographs and stories from my travels around the world and have continued to build a section devoted to Christmas celebrations. I also include a gallery of my original pen & ink illustrated Christmas Cards. Limited editions of these cards have been printed each year since 1988. One of the great joys of my personal Christmas Season is the sending of these cards to my many friends.

I am also a sailor, and am fortunate to have as my cruising grounds some of the most beautiful in the world, Buzzard's Bay and Vineyard Sound. I have a lifetime of photos and stories on the variety of places I have sailed in my Cape Dory 26, Yuletide. Currently she resides on Lake Tashmoo, Martha's Vineyard. 

I have a background in the fine arts, and work in the area of high tech marketing. Over the years I have enjoyed having this website as an online gallery for my artwork and photography.
