As a child one of the highlights of each holiday season
was the trip into Boston, to see Santa and the Enchanted Village.
Throughout the
1960's this was a Boston tradition. The intricate figurines were quite boring by
today's standards, moving a arm here,
turning a head there, yet at the time they
were quite magnificent. Today they have been restored by Jordan's Furniture,
where they are
on display, still evoking the same emotions of awe today that
they did 40 years ago.
