Venice at Easter
Venice Italy during Easter is an incredible experience. So many sights and sounds.
One night after a very fine meal we were walking along the dark streets of Venice. We decided to walk across the main island, to catch our ferry back to Lido. The streets were absolutely still as we strolled in the darkness. It was warm, and spring was in the air. We came around a corner and could hear the sounds of Puccini coming from an upper apartment. We stood there for a few minutes, listing to the passion of a Puccini aria as we drank in the beauty that was Venice.
